Matthew Harrison had commented on my blog and I responded.

Here are the comments (truncated) for those who have not seen it on the comments section.

Luqman two important questions:

1) Did you email links to pornography to a female teacher who blocked you because you harassed her on Twitter?

2) Do you live in Australia or Malaysia?

Here is my response:

Answer to Question

1. No, I did not email that female teacher at all. I repeat I have not emailed that female.

What do you mean by harassing her? I did no such thing. I just asked her to give evidence of what David had said that is offensive. I was on that thread and she came in and accused David without knowing what the tweets were all about.

2. I live in Malaysia.

I usually do not respond to unknowns except on rare occasions.

I then tweeted and asked Matthew Harrison to respond to my response. He said he, for some reason, is unable to comment on my blog and asked me to copy-paste from messenger on Twitter. Here are extracts from his message.

Luqman here is my response - I will not be responding after this just to ensure that I do not interfere in the investigation for the sake of both yourself and Summer. I do wish you and everyone else the best.

Dear Luqman,

I’ve weighed up whether to respond to your post. On one hand I do not want to further inflame the situation, but on the other hand you have raised some very serious points that I cannot leave unaddressed. I will organise my responses to your post point by point.

1.    The suggestion that these accusations are resulting from racism: the short answer is this is not true. Many people criticised your interactions with Summer from all over the world.

My response: This is a sweeping and exaggerated statement. Who are the ‘many people’? What are the countries which is included in ‘all over the world’? Almost all of them are from Australia. They are all her friends.

2. Some of your language on Twitter is problematic, particularly how you tell women how they should behave. This is considered not okay in many parts of the world. My perspective is that women are not objects to be controlled and are free to disagree with you. Women are also free not to respond to you. One such woman blocked you. At this point, the right thing to do was to no longer try to contact her. Instead you contacted her on Facebook and LinkedIn (public record), and allegedly messaged her workplace.

My comment: That may be cultural difference. I like to tell matters as they are. Tell the truth and that is all. I tell not only women but anyone who comes into my space and says things that they cannot substantiate. All I wanted to know was what it is that Dr. David Zyngier had said that is offensive.

I have always maintained that we all can agree to disagree.

3.     There has been a very serious accusation that you then sent this woman who did not want to interact with you a message via her company page with a link to a pornographic video. I have seen a screenshot of this email and it lists the sender as Luqmanmichel@gmail.com. Now I note you have said you did not send this email. This email also referenced the woman’s Instagram account on which you also tried to use to contact her and one of her Twitter comments.

My comment: This is what is upsetting. I never did send an email to Summer Howarth.

I cannot understand why he cannot email me the screen shot if there indeed was such a screen shot. I have never sent or ever seen any Instagram message. I do not have an Instagram account.

Summer has threatened me by saying that she had complained to VicPolice and that Interpol will be coming after me.

I want to see the VicPolice investigating this matter until my name is cleared. The best solution is for Summer to apologise on LinkedIn and move on.

This is a complete waste of my time. Unfortunately, sometime, we have to waste valuable time to maintain our reputation.

You must let people know what you stand for.”

Allow me to post the entire message so your readers aren't bamboozled by your cutting and pasting and the integrity of the commenter's post is maintained. He does not need to be named here.

It's also quite simple. You threatened and (continue to ) harass me. I will not apologise to you for standing up for myself and reporting your behaviour. Long before the email was sent, you'd crossed a line. Should the email not have come from you, but someone posing as you, the police will uncover that, in which case, you have nothing to concern yourself with in relation to the email, as stated in point 3.

Stop harassing me, Luqman.

Unfortunately like many countries, including Malaysia from what I understand, there are unresolved racial tensions in Australia. Australia as a society has much work to do as we are a multicultural country. We are still growing, but I believe better days are ahead. We are also at last resolving issues relating to gender equality, and this speaks to my second point.
In Australia, and from speaking with my Malaysian friends in your country as well, this is considered harassment. Please reconsider the language you use with women, whether they are Australian, Malaysian or from anywhere else. Please consider their fundamental right to choose not to interact with you. We as men need to do better.
Either you have been hacked, someone has created an account in your name or you did in fact send this message. If it is option one or two this is horrible behaviour and I hope the police can resolve this situation to redeem your good name. If it is the third option I would go for a long walk and rethink your choices in life.

Has my comment be altered. I have said in so may words that I have truncated the comments.
What is in this additional information that alters what I have written?

I am not harassing you. I am writing what has transpired.

Please ask the police to speed up the investigation as I have many other things to do.

For some reason my post is not showing - you can DM me and I will send you a copy of my reply which you can share if you wish. After this is over I will step back and let the Victorian and Malaysian police do their work. Have a nice day.

As such the comment above was send to me by DM by Matthew Harrison.

The question I have is; how did it end up with the person who made the above comment?

How did Summer Howarth get the private message from Matthew Harrison to me?
Summer Howarth does not know that I was in the audit field long before I was cajoled into teaching a dyslexic kid.
