When Documents Contradict Reality: Why Won’t PDRM Investigate?

Image
I have lodged multiple police reports concerning the alleged fabrication of false evidence and misrepresentation in property transactions. These reports include clear documentary contradictions: deceased persons listed as vendors, Sale & Purchase Agreements that don’t match filed particulars, and discrepancies in ownership records.

How Do Sabahans Seek Justice?

Image
Systemic Barriers Faced by Ordinary Citizens As a Sabah B40 citizen receiving RM100 monthly SARA aid , I often ask myself: How exactly are ordinary Sabahans supposed to seek justice when the very institutions meant to protect us create one obstacle after another? Over the past few years, I have documented several patterns on this blog. They are not isolated incidents. They form a picture of systemic barriers that make access to justice feel almost impossible for people like me.

“Not a Police Case” — When PDRM Redirects Instead of Investigates

Image
Blog Series on Fabricating False Evidence and Procedural Barriers Post 3:    ⚖ ️ Introduction When Malaysians lodge police reports , they expect criminal wrongdoing to be investigated. Yet, many complainants encounter a familiar barrier: reports are dismissed with phrases like “this is for the court” or “this is a civil matter.” My own experience illustrates this vividly. I filed a police report against an engineer involving false evidence and misrepresentation — clear criminal elements under the Penal Code . Instead of investigating, PDRM told me to refer the matter to KPKT . I complied, but no reply ever came, even after a reminder.

Facing the Unfaceable: A Baldwin Reminder for Sabah's Silent Sentinels

Image
In the dim corridors of Sabah 's bureaucracy, where emails vanish into the ether and meetings dissolve like morning mist, James Baldwin 's words cut through the fog like a lighthouse beam. "Not everything that is faced can be changed," he reminds us, "but nothing can be changed until it is faced." For three agonizing years, my battle over Vistana Heights —a once-dreamy hillside haven turned bureaucratic nightmare—has been a testament to this truth. And today, with election whispers in the air and integrity programs like Varsha dangling like unripe fruit, it's time to stare down the shadows.

Anwar: Top official could not be touched

Image
The above is the headline in yesterday’s, 6.8.2023, Daily Express . Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim is determined to put a stop to corrupt practices and irregularities which he said seemed to have become systemic and damaged the previous administration. He claimed that the previous governments were beset by the practice of officials asking for a ‘commission’. I have avoided talking about ‘commission’ as I have no evidence of the same. But, I have questioned how DBKK approved the Vistana Heights project that flouted many of the laws - rules and regulations - in the Housing and Town Development Authority Enactment.

A Facebook post by Ar. David Yek Tak Wai and my rebuttals

In early April I was pleasantly surprised to see a Facebook post by a highly respected architect. He had copy-pasted many of my blog posts and many of his architect friends had commented on his post. Here are some of the main points he highlighted and my rebuttal.
