  Since 2022, inquiries sent to LPPB ( Housing and Town Development Authority)  and DBKK (  Kota Kinabalu City Hall)  regarding the requirement for a retaining wall at Vistana Heights received no response. A soil test conducted by Applied Geotechnics (Sabah) Sdn. Bhd. before November 1997 recommended a retaining wall, which was incorporated into the development plan, including the final amended development plan of 2018.

The minutes: 2.1 The meeting was informed that Sr. Robert (the surveyor) had re-verified the Survey Plan that was reviewed, and the results of the review were communicated to the Kota Kinabalu City Hall. The re-verification results found that the height level of the road in front of Lot S9 is 31.05m (101.87 feet) Average Mean Sea Level (AMSL), compared to the level stated in the Development Plan Approval (Year 2018) which is 31.09m (102 feet) AMSL;   i) Development Plan: 31.09 m (102 feet)   ii) As-built survey plan: 31.04m (101.87 feet)      Difference in height: 0.04m (0.13 feet) My thoughts: Firstly, the figure 31.05m is not on the as-built survey.   Yesterday, I heard an emotional talk by Jordan Peterson on secret to overcome chaos . Here are a few of the salient points that touched me. We have a divine responsibility. If we don’t act according to our conscience, if we don’t do the things we are supposed to do or if we fail to do the things we are supposed to do our conscience tortures us and tells you that you are not acting in accordance with the central spirit of your being. The truth is what makes the world go around. When you engage in truthful speech, when you say what you have to say, when you do what you say you would do, everything around you works out better. But, if you don’t do that you make things worse. My thoughts as I listened to the above:
