Vistana Height and conscience

Yesterday, I heard an emotional talk by Jordan Peterson on secret to overcome chaos.

Here are a few of the salient points that touched me.

We have a divine responsibility. If we don’t act according to our conscience, if we don’t do the things we are supposed to do or if we fail to do the things we are supposed to do our conscience tortures us and tells you that you are not acting in accordance with the central spirit of your being.

The truth is what makes the world go around. When you engage in truthful speech, when you say what you have to say, when you do what you say you would do, everything around you works out better. But, if you don’t do that you make things worse.

My thoughts as I listened to the above:

Don’t the other house owners at Vistana Heights have a conscience? Do they go to the house of worship for show? Do they even believe in God?

Doesn’t the developer have a conscience? How is it possible for them to not bother to repair the water pipe that is leaking and has been leaking before keys were handed over to me? Don't they care about water wastage?

Don’t the engineers at Zaidun Leeng have a conscience? Were they not aware of the steepness of the driveway? How could they say that the driveway was built according to the Development Plan?

Doesn’t the conscience of the surveyors at Terra Firma and the architects at Arkitek LYS torture them when they had not acted in accordance with the central spirit of their being?

Where did DBKK officers place their conscience when they approved a project where cars are unable to drive up the driveway?

Does the officer at LPPB, Andy Osman, really believe the developer and engineer when they said that the trees growing at the bottom of a hill will protect the steep hill from collapsing?

What divine responsibility is Jordan Peterson talking about? I don’t see any of the people mentioned above in a chaotic situation.

On the other hand, the Chinese saying comes to mind: Shan you shan bao, e you e bao. Ruguo bu bao shi chen wei dao. Good has its reward and evil has its recompense. The payback is just a matter of time.
