Religious provocators
lit. to pick up what has been heard on the way.
fig. groundless information; hearsay
I stay away from Religious discussions but recent events
give me a chance to explain a little on what I have learned over the years.
Furthermore I learned the above idiom from a friend this morning.
The Hindus believe in one formless God. There are no
thousands of Gods as written by Zamri Vinod and Zakir Naik both of whom are
Hindu converts.
Here are extracts of a Face Book discussion with one Chinese
girl,Sze Hoi Wong on Face Book which is self explanatory.
Luqman
Michel This guy (Zamri Vinod) is sick but
on the other hand do not believe everything on the net.
Sze
Hoi Wong Luqman Michel
most Muslims have preconditioned answer of what is right or wrong without
listening to the other side’s argument because of brainwashing from young.
My comment
now: Is she not brainwashed as well? Continue reading and form your own opinion.
Luqman
Michel Sze Hoi Wong
correct. However this is true with other religious beliefs as well. Most people
have been indoctrinated from young. If one reads about the main religions it is
only the Hindus who are not idol worshippers.
Luqman
Michel Excellent question but why did you
not ask why other religions also have idols? Let us start with that first. When
I was a young child I went with my mother on Christmas Eve to the largest Catholic
Church in KL. After the service each year we used to queue up to kiss baby
Jesus. Then we would all pray to Mother Mary's statue. When I was a teenager I
joined the Chinese Methodist Church in Port Dickson and visited many of the
Methodist churches in the country. Every church had the cross next to the altar.
We would all bow down as we entered the churches.
Sze Hoi Wong Everyone knows those are just symbols, only ignorant idiots would believe Christians really pray to those crosses and symbols.
Luqman
Michel How about the ignorant idiots who
claim that Hindus worship idols? I am just using the words of your choice. From what I know, the Hindus have
only one God who is formless. Do some research on this fact and we may continue
on another day. Wish you well.
Sze Hoi Wong Don’t know what you talking about Krishna is only one of many......

Luqman
Michel Sze Hui Wong, We should try and
learn about other's beliefs before putting our heads on the chopping block. In
Indian philosophy, Hindus pray to specific deities during different time. For
example students will worship Saraswathy who is the 'deity' for education.
Later, they may probably pray to Letchumy the deity for wealth and fortune.
This is explained by saying that a young child will not be able to close his
eyes and pray to a formless deity. But, upon maturity he should get rid of all
deity/idols/images/symbols and worship a formless God which is now easier than
when he was young. Try and close your eyes and imagine nothing for just one
minute and you may understand this teaching. There is only one formless God to
be prayed ultimately by all Hindus. Hope this helps. I believe that we should
only talk about our own religion which we may know a little about and stop
pointing a finger at what others believe where we know almost nothing about. Wish
you well.
Luqman
Michel "Everyone knows those are just
symbols," (Sze Hui Wong) For Christians it is symbol but not for others?
Does this sound reasonable? I like to quote Ghandi on this "Why do you
Christians try and convert us to Christianity? If you can live a Christ like
life, the whole of India will want to convert". It is definitely not
Christ like to comment on other religions when one has a lot more to learn just
about one's own religion.
My comment now: This is exactly how John Ho, George Kunjan, CC Pung, Arabi Wazani , Muthusamy and others avoid direct questions which will solve any misunderstandings.
Luqman
Michel Let us not stray from your main
points. Why Ghandi was killed is not our discussion. The main point is that
there is only one God for the Hindus and that God is formless. A Hindu when is
matured prays to one formless God. Have you now been educated?
Sze Hoi Wong
here is something official. Please listen to the whole clip and then tell me
that you have been educated.
Luqman
Michel Would you like me to write about
our encounter in one of my three blogs so that other ‘religious experts ‘ like
you may be better informed?
Sze Hoi Wong Luqman Michel The video message hits the nail on the head. Same reason SzeHoi Wong is here criticising Islam is because Muslims including Zakir Naik been dishing out against other religions like they are the only untouchable religion.
Luqman
Michel I shall write about my encounter with you if you
do not apologise for saying that Hindus have many gods. I give you 3 days. I
will write about this encounter in my 4th book. You may read my last three
books at www.luqmanmichel.com
Sze Hoi Wong Luqman Michel What is there to apologise when 99% of general population think that Hindus have millions of Gods?
My comment now: This is how people like Sze
Hoi Wong, George Kunjan and John Ho discuss matters. They avoid questions and
bring in new topics for discussion.
Sze Hoi Wong is the type of person who creates
religious disharmony by provoking others. I had explained clearly the Hindu
Philosophy and she still claims that 99 percent of the Hindus believe in more
than a thousand Gods. Where did she get that figure of 99% from? How do we educate people like this girl?.
