                                                                I emailed Miss Fung Yun Ling of Sabah Surveyor Board and have not received a reply on the results of the survey points of the house platform and road height taken by the Survey Board in the presence of the Directors of Land and Survey including Sr. Saat Durasit (Deputy Director Survey) Mr. Awang Fauzi bin Awang Tahir (Deputy Director Development), Mr. S Zulkarnain S. Abdullah (Development division) and 5 others. Sr. Saat promised to send me the survey findings once the survey points have been drafted. The survey was conducted on 28.6.2023. LINK

                                                                  Dear Datuk Sr Bernard Liew Chau Min, I refer to my several emails to you over the past year concerning the falsified as-built survey used in order to obtain the occupancy certificate for Vistana Heights project. Dr. Faisal Luqman, a Malay born in Sabah and who brought fame to Sabah by being the top student in Sabah and being the only student to get the Agong’s scholarship for doing his Ph.D in the US is the owner of unit no 15 at Vistana Heights. I complained on Dr. Faisal’s behalf to you a number of times and have yet to get a response from you.

                                                    On 8.2.23, I complained to the Board of Architects Malaysia (Lembaga Arkitek Malaysia) about the use of fabricated as-built survey to obtain occupancy certificate for Vistana Heights. After more than a year of emails to and from, the Board of architects sent me an email on 18.3.24, requesting me to get an independent surveyor to give the Board the actual house platform level and the road level in front of the driveway.

  On 18.3.24 the front page headline in our Daily Express was ‘Many things to put right first’. This was with regard to the proposed Municipal Council upgrade. Many Penampang folks complained about many aspects that need rectification before the Municipal Council upgrade. In 2020, I had complained to the Council about the condition of the basketball court that was destroyed by the Department of Irrigation contractors who came to repair the drain at Golf Garden that had collapsed. I reminded the Council several times since then and despite promises to repair the damaged playground no action has been taken.
