Ronny Cham & Co's letter and my actions

 


 

The above is the letter from Ronny Cham & Co.

I wrote 3 emails to Puan Rosemary Ahping, the GM of LPPB, which were not replied. Then, I wrote to Puan Cristilla Korok, the head of the legal department of LPPB.

Here is my email and her reply:

Among the matters, I wrote to you on 1.12.2022 is the following:

Kindly let me know if Puan Rosemary and Puan Della did indeed instruct Messrs. Ronny Cham.

You responded on 2.12.2022 as follows:

If you have an urgent matter to clarify with LPPB, we are open for discussion.

Kindly set appointment with us at your earliest convenience time.

Yesterday, 5.12.2022, I telephoned you for an appointment and you replied that you are busy.

Please let me know a suitable time to meet you and have some of the questions I have on the letter of demand purportedly to have been instructed by your GM and Development manager.

If I do not hear from you within the next two days, I shall escalate this matter.

Good morning Mr Luqman,

Thank you for quoting all my previous conversations and emails which I did not know what is your intention.

As I was told you earlier, Messrs. Ronny Cham is not LPPB’s panel lawyer.

Please leave me out of this personally as we (LPPB) are looking forward to settle your case amicable.

Dear Sirs,

On 25.11.2022 I received a Notice of demand from Messrs. Ronny Cham & Co.

The letter (attached below) says ‘We act for Rosemary Ahping and Della E.Sinidol of Lembaga Pembangunan Perumahan Dan Bandar (LPPB).

I wrote several emails to Puan Rosemary, the General Manager of LPPB asking her if she had indeed instructed Mr. Ronny Cham of Ronny Cham & Co but never did get a response from her.

I telephoned the head of the legal department of LPPB, Puan Christlina Korok, who informed me that Messrs. Ronny Cham & Co is not in their panel of lawyers and they would refer to the attorney general if they had any questions regarding legal matters.

Sirs, this is tantamount to misrepresentation.

Please take this complaint seriously and investigate this matter and take action against the legal firm.

I also attach a subsequent email to Ronny Cham & Co and their response and my reply to their response.

Kindly confirm receipt of this email.
