YB Stanley Chong Hon Chung

Heartiest congratulations to YBhg. TPr. Stanley Chong Hon Chung on his appointment as Director of the Sabah State Economic Planning Unit (UPEN).

I have great respect for him, not only for his professional achievements but also for his accessibility and responsiveness. In my experience, he is one of the very few public officers who consistently acknowledges emails promptly. On several occasions, he replied immediately to confirm receipt of my correspondence and followed up the very next day with a comprehensive response.

In an era when many citizens struggle to receive even an acknowledgment from government agencies, such professionalism, courtesy, and commitment to public engagement deserve recognition. I wish him every success in his new role and trust that UPEN Sabah will continue to benefit from his dedication, responsiveness, and leadership.

Congratulations once again, and all the best in your new appointment.

On 6 June 2026, I sent an official complaint via email to the Director of Education, Selangor, followed by a registered letter on 8 June 2026.After receiving no reply, I followed up with another email this morning,19.6.2026, and a telephone call. The Director’s Personal Assistant, Puan Aliah, who answered my call, informed me that the Director has instructed the complaint to be forwarded to the Integrity Department for further action. I asked her to acknowledge receipt of my email and have yet to receive it.  Now, I'll wait for another two weeks to see if this matter has to be escalated.   For those who missed my earlier post, below is the English translation of the email and formal letter I sent to the Director.
