1.1 Tweets of Summer Howarth and co to include in my next book

The next book will, in fact, be my fifth book. My fourth book was printed only for free distribution.

Please excuse me for temporarily parking this post here. I am considering writing another book and would like to include these tweets. After a short period of time it is not possible to collect material from Twitter.

This chapter is to show readers that there are many educated fools on Twitter who click ‘like’ on tweets without reading the full text. This will create the wrong impression on other readers.

When the author is questioned, in as polite a manner as possible, to say what it is that one has said that is disrespectful the author does not respond and instead blocks the questioner. This is not the way adults should behave.

From the tweets below you will see examples of twitters commenting without knowing head or tail of what is written. You will see Twitters not answering specific questions but beat around the bush. You will see Twitters who block another for no apparent reason.

Specifically:

i.                     ‘Steph please explain how I wasn't respectful in any of my responses.’ (David) This is a straight forward question. If I had such a chance I will go for the jugular. I did not like the way David ‘grilled’ me either but I answered all his questions and he relented.

ii.                   I understand. It is like mosquitoes like this guy @KevinWheldall (Luqman Michel). Yes, this guy who claims to be an educator and behavior researcher keeps liking tweets and when asked as to why he clicked ‘like’ he shuts up. Perhaps he is studying my behaviour. But does he not understand the implications of clicking ‘like’?

iii.                 Boris Henry@BorisTough who claims to be a teacher and is uncouth. This teacher wrote that David has a small penis and that explains his behaviour. Boris was also asked for one example of bullying Steph but there was no response.

iv.                 And suddenly come our heroine from nowhere: Rebecca Urban.

v.                   ‘There you go gaslighting AGAIN. David, if multiple people point out the same thing to you over and over again, it might be worth some self reflection.’ (Summer Howarth @EduSum). When asked for details she blocked me and then came in to comment under the name of EventfulLearning_Co.

vi.                 Another minor player is Stephen Zhang @stevezhangteach

Educator and passionate about developing 21st Century Learners. I wonder why he liked the tweet.

Here are the details, I will write my comments  in the book.

On 24.8.2020 @NarelleLynch1 Replying to @luqmanmichel  @JudyGouldSF1 and 6 others

Tweeted the following:

I’m blocked by someone in this thread so apologies if my tweets seem out of context.

I then tweeted:

I simply don't understand why s/o would block a/o at all. It is immature and shows a lack of upbringing.

I just ignore tweets meant to irritate me and the irritators just disappear.

If you write s/t unpalatable I just let others read it and decide...

Dr David Zyngier then tweeted as follows:

Me too. SPs really don't like being asked questions do they?

Steph Le Lievre @SpeechieTeach_ tweeted:

That’s really unfair. I tried to engage in a really respectful debate with you. I am allowed to block who I choose. I’m not an SP. I was one. I am a teacher.

Dr David Zyngier responded as follows:

Steph please explain how I wasn't respectful in any of my responses. Or those of @NarelleLynch1

You profile says you are a SP now a teacher.

Dr David Zyngier further wrote:

No doubt it can Steph. That's social media. If you want to stay within a bubble or echo chamber that's your choice. But that's not going to expand your knowledge or practice. That only occurs through intellectual challenge. Same for our students really.

I then tweeted:

I choose not to block a/o Steph. I let them say what they want and they stop writing when I do not respond. I will take on a/o in a respectful debate. Your profile says knowledge is key. How do we gain knowledge if we block those with a different opinion?

Is telling the truth considered vitriol?

Why would s/o like Pamela Snow block me?

If such people are worth their salt, they should have an open debate instead of blocking a/o who disagrees with them.

Steph Le Lievre @SpeechieTeach_Replying to @luqmanmichel

I only block when there is the gang mentality- they tag the same people each time to try to suffocate those with views different to theirs. I have lots of respectful debates with others I disagree with. These people are bullies.

And it goes both ways- do you think David and co learn from all the people they continually badger? No. I told them that MY ITE did not include any current research on reading instruction- they gave a list of excuses and insisted I had to be wrong. Honestly

I then responded:

I understand. There are many of the kind you mention. David did 'grill' me but when I answered his questions he was big enough to accept and move on. Read my post at

https://dyslexiafriend.com/2020/06/the-problem-with-show-me-research_9.html#more

I understand. It is like mosquitoes like this guy @KevinWheldall

liked a reply to a Tweet without knowing head or tail about what is going on.

Ask him why he liked that tweet and he will have no idea.

And he claims to be an educator!

Yes, I have had some too. But I do not block them. I ask them questions and they disappear.

Then out of the blues come this uncouth person BorisHenry @BorisTough

What, so you can bully her some more?

Dr David Zyngier @dzyngier Replying to @BorisTough @SpeechieTeach_ and 7 others

Boris SHOW me ONE example of bullying of Steph.

Zyngier- you are a cretin of a human! You’re a bully in the most narcissistic of ways. You must have the smallest penis in history! Big man shaming women, you creepy old man.

Dr David Zyngier

Thank you Boris. Not sure what you have been taking but I'm certain you should stop!

BorisHenry

@BorisTough Replying to @luqmanmichel @dzyngier and 7 others

He’s a poisonous, underhanded, narcissistic misogynist. Be careful of him.

I responded:

@BorisTough this is very unbecoming of a teacher. Zyngier also asked me, in fact, grilled me with questions after questions and I responded. I don't believe he shames women. Let us lay the cards on the table - give concrete examples of how he bullied.

@PATSTONE55 Replying to @luqmanmichel @BorisTough and 8 others

This person is not a teacher.

And suddenly come our heroine from nowhere: Rebecca Urban

She liked a reply to my Tweet

I only block when there is the gang mentality- they tag the same people each time to try to suffocate those with views different to theirs. I have lots of respectful debates with others I disagree with. These people are bullies.

Summer Howarth @EduSum Replying to @dzyngier @BorisTough and 8 others

There you go gaslighting AGAIN. David, if multiple people point out the same thing to you over and over again, it might be worth some self reflection.

Dr David Zyngier

Oh Summer. I ask a question of an anonymous TROLL and you leap to her defence? Your behaviour attacking me at every opportunity is disconcerting.

Summer Howarth @EduSum Replying to @dzyngier @BorisTough and 8 others

How was she a troll? She’s a teacher with a profile outlining who she is!

Dr David Zyngier

@dzyngier

Summer did you read what anonymous TROLL Boris wrote?

Is this acceptable? Would you call that out as bullying and harassment

Dr David Zyngier

Blocked again. Why? Steph acknowledged that I had been respectful.

Dr David Zyngier

Summer would you use such abusive language?

Summer Howarth

shhhhhh I'm working with teachers. I don't have time for you.

Dr David Zyngier

Pot kettle black! You jump at shadows to attack me but when I'm abused and harassed all of a sudden you're too busy.

BorisHenry

Truth hurts huh?

Stephen Zhang another guy who suddenly  appeared and

liked a Tweet you were mentioned in

shhhhhh I'm working with teachers. I don't have time for you.

Narelle

IMO there’s miscommunication here , you’re both referring to different people. Time to move on.

But I will highlight the tweet in question that was sent to David is unacceptable-disgusting . One of the reasons I blocked the troll.

Summer Howarth

To be clear, I am ALWAYS too busy when it comes to you and your crap. But when you vilify teachers, I’ll call it out.

Narelle

Will you also call out his support for teachers? Sorry,  just playing devil’s advocate.

Summer Howarth

No because I expect good behaviour and that’s why we are here, to support each other.

Narelle

If we are here to support each other, you would also understand his position as I do yours.

Summer Howarth @EduSum

Cool. When you’ve been as vilified as I have by this man, you might be keen to jump to the support of others he’s poking as too. Onwards.

Narelle

I don’t know the context of your situation. I was speaking from the context of this one. I support academic discussion and don’t condone attacks on anyone.

Dr David Zyngier

And when pray tell have I vilified teachers?  You think if you keep telling a lie enough people will believe it? You are approaching defamation. You've been warned.

Summer Howarth

Oh go away, David. You clearly upset a teacher today and I called it out. You have been an absolute nasty piece of work to me and I know of clever people who refuse to turn up to events because you’re involved. I will call out your bad behaviour. It’s quite simple.

Dr David Zyngier

You keep on throwing mud Summer. Either provide evidence or retract.

Luqman Michel

No one appears to answer the questions asked.

What a sordid state of affairs.

The basic question is what did David say that was disrespectful to Steph?

How did David vilify Summer?

I have copied these tweets ideal for one chapter for my 4th book.

Eventful_Learning_Co

liked 2 Tweets you were mentioned in

That’s really unfair. I tried to engage in a really respectful debate with you. I am allowed to block who I choose. I’m not an SP. I was one. I am a teacher.

Thank you Summer. As mentioned, I am just writing the facts. When I write it in my book I will include my comments and yours as well. I will send you a autographed copy for free when the book is published.
The whole idea of this post is to let Twitters know that they should not simply click 'like' without reading what has been previously written.
Stay safe.
For now get a copy of one of my book which is just as boring but states all the facts 'Wolves among Lions'.
The book is about the facts that my former Lions Club misappropriated funds meant for the needy.

Here are some comments of Summer and my responses on FB.
Summer Howarth’s comments on FB

I left an honest comment on your blog, champ. Enjoy.

Luqman Michel
Summer Howarth,You would be surprised at the number of your FB friends reading my post. You are popular and let us end this right here. I do not stop unfinished business.

Summer Howarth
Luqman Michel, piss off with your gaslighting. They are reading your ridiculous post for the comedic value. You and your mates David and Steven have an unhealthy obsession with me and it’s weird... that’s why my friends are all over it. You’re a dangerous man. Go away and leave me alone.

Luqman Michel
I will leave you alone for now but if you ever click 'like' on any of my tweets you will have to expose your stupidity once again.

Summer Howarth
Lily Lauren how do we get that court order in place? This guy has lost it.

Luqman Michel said…

I then messaged Summer instead of embarrassing her on the main page:
Summer stop this and do not embarrass yourself.
Do you want me to respond to your court order on your main page?

Summer, you are still young and have a lot to learn and contribute to the world. I have not responded to your subsequent comments except to click ‘like’ as I promised you I will not continue on your time line. I have a huge following on my main blog but I chose to write on a blog which I seldom post on.

I honestly wish you well. You have achieved quite a bit of success and I wish you more success.
Do not spoil that good name by attacking a Dr. without basis.

And she responded:

How disgustingly patronising. I have basis and you have ego. You are right about one thing; I have much to contribute and a portfolio of respected work unlike your washed up self. This is laughable and you are an incredibly dangerous person.

I responded as follows:

Well, say what you like. My name is recognised and mentioned by researchers in the US. If you only cared to read without shooting from the hips. OR asked me but you won’t.

May I copy paste this on my blog?

She had taken a photo of our messages and posted on her FB post which therefore makes it public.

Now, when I went back to copy-paste the whole post and all the derogatory comments from her friends I find that the whole post with its comments have been removed.

I decided to move on and did not respond to many of the tweets of Summer's supporters.
This afternoon, 31.8.2020, I visited my LinkedIn posts and was surprised to see that Summer had visited my profile.

I then tagged her to a post that I thought she may like to read. The post can be found at:
https://www.dyslexiafriend.com/2020/08/tennessee-foundational-skills.html

The following is what I commented on LinkedIn:

Summer Howarth for your information and comments if any.

Summer then responded:

Following your vile assault of me across twitter and Facebook and your disgusting email threats, I suggest you stop following me across platforms. The matter is now with the Police.

I replied as follows:

Summer Howarth I never did threaten you. I just told you that I am including tweets in my next book. It was you who had checked out my profile which I noticed today and passed this post for your information and comments.

The following is Summer's response:

I had to get your details for the Police. I have your sexually explicit email. You will be contacted by VICPOL.

My comment now: I am shocked why Summer would write such a thing on my LinkedIn post.
I had never sent her any email at all let alone 'sexually explicit' email.

This kind of behaviour from a teacher is despicable.

Fortunately, my readers will know that there cannot be any truth in her comment.

Here is a comment by an anonymous Mathew Harrison on the wrong post on Dyslexia friend.I have copied it and posted it here:

Luqman two important questions:
1) Did you email links to pornography to a female teacher who blocked you because you harassed her on Twitter?
2) Do you live in Australia or Malaysia?

Here is my response:

Matthew Harrison, This is the wrong forum. You should ask this question in the correct post.
Anyway, since you have asked the question I shall copy your question and my response and post them where they should be. Any further questions, please write them in the correct post as readers will not understand what this is about.

Answer to Question
1. No, I did not email that female teacher at all. I repeat I have not emailed that female.

What do you mean by harassing her? I did no such thing. I just asked her to give evidence of what David had said that is offensive. I was on that thread and she came in and accused David without knowing what the tweets were all about.

2. I live in Malaysia.

I usually do not respond to unknowns except in rare occasions.

Why can’t you just leave women alone. People can disagree with you without you staking them and vilifying their views on your ridiculous blog. I’m fed up.
