Selangor Education Dept Twists Complaint on Teacher’s Court Order Violation into ‘Bankruptcy’ Claim – Then Closes the Case

 

Here is the reply to my email to the Selangor Education Director which you may read at LINK.

This is a translation of the email written in Malay by the Integrity Sector:

Sir/Madam,

Referring to the complaint that you submitted on 5 June 2026 regarding the financial status/bankruptcy of our officers, the management has taken appropriate action by conducting a detailed investigation.

    For your information, an official check has been made with the Malaysian Insolvency Department (MDI) to confirm the validity of the allegations.

 

    The official review found that the named officer was NOT bankrupt and her financial record was clean under the department concerned. Therefore, the allegations made were unfounded.

    We always take every complaint seriously, but we also have a responsibility to protect the welfare and reputation of our employees from any unfounded allegations. In this regard, we consider this issue to be resolved and no further action will be taken. 

We greatly appreciate your cooperation and concern.

I immediately replied and will wait 2 weeks before escalating this matter.

I did not write about insolvency or bankruptcy. Where they came up with this is beyond me. They have also said that no further action will be taken.

Tuan/Puan,

Merujuk kepada aduan yang pihak tuan/puan kemukakan pada 5 Jun 2026  berkenaan status kewangan/kebankrapan pegawai kami, pihak pengurusan telah mengambil tindakan sewajarnya dengan menjalankan siasatan terperinci.

    Untuk makluman pihak tuan/puan, satu semakan rasmi telah dibuat dengan Jabatan Insolvensi Malaysia (MDI) bagi mengesahkan kesahihan dakwaan tersebut.

    Hasil semakan rasmi mendapati bahawa pegawai yang dinamakan TIDAK berstatus muflis/bankrap dan rekod kewangan beliau adalah bersih di bawah jabatan berkenaan. Oleh itu, dakwaan yang dikemukakan adalah tidak berasas.

    Pihak kami sentiasa memandang serius setiap aduan, namun kami juga bertanggungjawab melindungi kebajikan dan reputasi warga kerja kami daripada sebarang dakwaan yang tidak sahih. Sehubungan dengan itu, pihak kami menganggap isu ini telah selesai dan tiada tindakan lanjut akan diambil.
