A full circle
Yesterday, a good friend sent me the photo above and said:
‘Notice the elevation?’
I responded: Yes, what is important is if this was according to the DP (Development Plan).
He replied: No idea…this has been going on for ages, until they meet LM (Luqman Michel).
I laughed it off and this morning I sent the following message:
Not many have had the opportunity of having worked –
i. in the largest Audit Firm in SEA where we went through the mill and not just sit and pass exams without knowing what a cash book looks like. We were taught to think.
ii. as project manager and developed 120 houses in record time (see testimonial from my previous boss at
https://luqmantestimonial.blogspot.com/2018/09/testimonial-from-managing-director-of.html
This was in addition to being Finance manager.
iii. in a licensed surveyors office as manager for over two years and checked survey plans drafted by a survey technician.
iv. More importantly thought logically since childhood. In my recent visit to KL I met 3 former colleagues from Turquands Young and Co., who said that I am remembered for being called 'Mr.Logic' - that was 50 years ago.
Note added:
The consultant engineer who supervised the works at Pekway is the same engineer I will be reporting to PDRM next week. I have carefully drafted the police report and will vet multiple times over the weekend before final submission. Several attempts to meet the engineer to resolve this matter amicably have been unsuccessful.
I have already lodged two previous reports with PDRM, but no action has been taken. As more than four months have now passed since my initial complaint, I intend to forward both my previous complaints and the new report to the Independent Police Conduct Commission (IPCC), which has replaced the EAIC as the body responsible for handling complaints against the police.
I will also be emailing the activists/challengers from Sabah who have been vocal on social media about the Federal Government’s alleged unfair treatment regarding MA63. I hope they will now demonstrate their commitment by supporting this case.
