"Unveiling Discrepancies: Delays and Deceptions in the Vistana Heights Survey Saga"


 

At the meeting with DBKK together with the surveyor and architect the Director General, Sr. Lifred Wong asked the surveyor to do a survey of the platform and road heights at no 9 Vistana Heights. Since then, I have requested for the survey and have yet to receive it.

As mentioned earlier, Sr. Lifred Wong tried to mislead those present with figures that were not in the original as-built drawing. LINK

Remember Lembaga Juruukur Sabah’s reply on 15.1.2025:

'Please be informed that the Board is still looking into your complaint about the As-built survey plans for Taman PuncakVistana, Iramanis due to further verification from the authority.' 

Is DBKK also under some instruction from ‘The Authority’?

Dear Puan Siti Fairuz,

I attended a meeting yesterday organised by DBKK where 2 officers* from Integrity Department attended.

DBKK never addressed several questions I had raised.

The one single question on the driveway was misled by using wrong data.

At the meeting yesterday, I told the pengarah that no surveyor in Sabah wants to do a survey at Vistana Heights, probably controlled by LJS. Mr. Lifred asked me to get surveyors from outside Sabah. Ma'am, I believe this should be organised by LJS to whom I have complained that the as-built survey is fabricated.

I plead with you to get LJS to forward the spot level survey done in June 2023.

I would be grateful if I could meet with your officers with documents to explain the situation.

Note: I was informed by both DBKK and the Integrity Department that they have no jurisdiction over LJS. 

* I later learned that Puan Siti Fairuz is one of the two officers from Integrity Department who attended the meeting.

Are architects liable for fabricated documents submitted to authorities

In 2020, many of my well-meaning friends told me that I have no course of action against the professionals involved in obtaining the Occupancy Certificate for Vistana Heights project with fabricated as-built survey plan. I believe all those involved, including DBKK senior officers, LPPB (Lembaga Pembangunan Perumahan Dan Bandar) and its GM Rosemary Ahping, Arkitek LYS, Lembaga Juruukur Sabah etc. will be answerable for how the Occupancy Certificate was issued. Hopefully, my complaint to SPRM (MACC), LJS, DBKK, Lembaga Arkitek Malaysia will be looked into.
