Comments by the public and replies by EAIC
I have many posts that I have prepared to be posted after my meeting with the Sabah Integrity Department this afternoon,12.8.2025, but I thought I better post this first.
EAIC: Not many integrity cases reported but enough to erode public trust
Here are comments and encouraging replies by someone honest at EAIC. I wonder if this site will be available for sometime to come.
Abdul Wahab
Imigresen has to learn respect the humanity.

Abdul Wahab Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
We totally agree respect for humanity must always come first, especially in the civil service
Let’s hope everyone keeps this in mind!

The EAIC has long been underrated. They are capable of conducting thorough investigations, often better than other agencies. Their investigation officers have legal backgrounds. However, their jurisdiction is limited, and their recommendations are often ignored by the disciplinary authorities. It is high time they were given more serious attention, and the public must come forward to support them.

Awi Abu Appreciate the support, sir.
Integrity is our game, and we play to win.

Too many are not reported.
EAIC(Suruhanjaya Integriti Agensi Penguatkuasaan)
Lion Luqman Michel Exactly, sir. That’s why we urge the public to speak up, integrity starts with action

Most do not know that such an agency exists.
EAIC(Suruhanjaya Integriti Agensi Penguatkuasaan)
Not many do but we’re here, watching, investigating and upholding integrity

This country will be heaven like if all agencies reply emails or comments like this department does. God Bless.

I am in Sabah and we have the Integrity Department here for complaints on state departments. I hope they are as efficient as you. I did not expect responses here by you. This is appreciated. I wish you well.

Thank you, boss! Really appreciate your support from Sabah! Let’s keep things clear and fair #integritidijulangnegarabermaruah

Would I be wrong in saying: An enforcement agency is a government or official body tasked with ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, or policies. To me, it means an organization with the authority to investigate, monitor, and take action—such as fines, arrests, or legal proceedings—to uphold rules and maintain order. Their role is to enforce standards, deter violations, and protect public interest, often balancing authority with accountability. But this is not the case with our Malaysian EAIC or Integrity Department. They are what the Chinese saying ‘Paper Tiger’ stands for. Please allow me to post your response in my blog. This morning I wrote a post about EAIC at LINK.

If you don't have the power to enforce, why call yourself 'Enforcement Agency'. Do we ultimately have to take matters to court where legal fees are high? What other choice do we have?
Wow! I salute this person responding to the comments. If only a small percentage of civil servants are like him, Malaysia will become the Asian Tiger it was decades ago.
