Strengthening governance and national integrity.
My emails to higher authorities have not gone to waste. There has been no response but action has been taken. Here is an extract from the Borneo post article dated 13.10.2025.
PUTRAJAYA (Oct 13): Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has given assurance that the government will protect those who act decisively in combating corruption and safeguarding national revenue, in line with the administration’s commitment to strengthening governance and national integrity.
Anwar, who is also Finance Minister, said bold and immediate action is needed to ensure Malaysia is free from corrupt practices and abuse of power that threaten the economy and the people’s well-being.
“We must find firm, tough and immediate solutions, and I will defend those who carry out their duties to save the nation.
“I want to express my full support for their actions, and we appreciate their efforts.

Dear Tan Sri Wan Ahmad Dahlan Abdul Aziz,
I hope this message finds you well. I am writing with reference to a report in The Star dated 10 June 2025, which outlined the prohibition on public officers making statements that could potentially embarrass or tarnish the government’s reputation, as well as restrictions on disclosing factual information related to government operations. I fully respect and appreciate the intent behind these guidelines.

Moving forward, fostering professional communication and robust mechanisms for dispute resolution will benefit both the government and the public.
The PM’s Department wants robust mechanisms for dispute resolution and our director of Jabatan Tanah dan Ukur asks me to take legal action. Won’t legal action tarnish the governments name? Once the matter goes to court the newspapers will publish it. Do public servants want to air dirty linen?
